Hello everyone!
I am currently working as a properties master for a theatrical production in Denver, Colorado. One of the required props for this production is something that the actress is calling a "Myrtle Doll". The play takes place during the late 70's and therefore I would imagine that it was popular sometime within that period. They have bean filled bodies. Hope someone can identify this doll box I have. It is decorated with flowers and has a label that reads--Alice 071 and measures about 8 1/4" square. I am trying to find out what make of doll it is for--Nancy Ann, Madame Alexander or what.

Hello, I'm a writer and not a doll collector, but I was hoping someone on this forum might help me. I'm writing a novel about the 1930s (so the dolls would be from around 1930), and I'm thinking the dolls would be composition dolls. Anyway one, admittedly bad, character tries to switch the heads on two dolls--would that have been possible with any of the dolls from this era? Thanks, writer

Make a long story short, I saw two dolls in boxes on a shelf (I was told there was a third one also) in a pack-rat's house. I have an old doll that I am looking for some info on. I was wondering its value as I think I'm going to attempt to sell it.
This doll stands about 18 inches tall and on the back of the head/neck it reads "-71+ Sabino made in italy" and in the doll's back it holds three C cell batteries. Does anyone know if it's even possible to get her repaired? Her "crier" stopped working a few years ago, and the left shoulder section of her torso is broken ; her left arm now sits in her lap so that it doesn't get lost.

Hi Ladies. I am new to this forum and have a question. I have a doll, vinyl molded hair baby, ca the 60s. He is marked 20 7 on his neck. Any idea who may have made him? He is a fairly generic baby, not a 'name' doll. I have many dolls from the 60s and 50s and this baby is like several I owned at one time.

I need help in identifying a Madame Alexander doll that I have. She is 7" tall and had the mark MME ALEXANDER on her back. The tag on her dress is Mary, Madame Alexander , New York, USA. She is made of composition I believe and has a wig and painted eyes. I will try to load pictures. Just trying to find out who she is and when she was made.
