Hi
I am new to this and hoping for your help. We have a doll in the family which was bought for my Great Aunt some time 1925-1930. She has the mark Germany 47. I think she has a Bisque head, although it could be porcelain. Her body and limbs are papier-mache. She now has a dark wig, but I believe her original hair was long and blonde. She had a "mama" voice box, has 4 strung limbs, 2 teeth and a moving tongue, opening and closing eyelids and eyes that originally moved left and right and up and down. She is approx 20 inches/52cm.
I am interested to trace the manufacturer and history of this doll, not because we wish to sell her, more out of interest.
Any help gratefully received!
